Charlotte, NC, will watch award-winning multi-platinum sensation James Arthur shed his balladeering persona to evoke a more low-key atmospheric experience via his sixth full-length album. Issued under Columbia Records, PISCES (2025) uncovers a gentler, dreamier vibe of Arthur’s R&B-styled pop music, as you’ll hear in the singles “Cruel,” “Celebrate,” “Embers,” and “KARAOKE.” It entered the UK’s Official Albums Chart at number three, showcasing a subtler (but no less passionate) range of songwriting not often heard from such a powerhouse performer.

James Arthur’s first breakthrough was propelled by his four-time Platinum cover of Shontelle’s iconic hit, “Impossible,” followed four years later in 2016 by his now-signature Diamond single, “Say You Won’t Let Go,” which also charted number one in five countries. A run of platinum music came next in the late 2010s with songs such as “Safe Inside,” “Naked,” “Empty Space,” and “Falling Like The Stars” before a UK chart-topping comeback with 2024’s Bitter Sweet Love. The Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre will provide a sublime production to elevate the evening, focusing on ambiance, acoustics, and first-class hospitality thanks to its professional staff. 

Meanwhile, YouTube phenom/pop star aspirant Kate Peytavin taps in for an opening set. She comes off the viral heels of her new EP, Generation Numb, featuring the Apple Music hits “Help!” and “I Don’t Feel Anything.”
