Two significant acts will be hitting the road together as The Fray and Dashboard Confessional announce dates for The Summer of Light Tour. The tour will feature live performances by Dashboard Confessional and The Fray. Fans in Charlotte will get to see both acts at Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre on Friday, August 7th, 2026. For less than $42 per ticket, guests will experience the two groups’ most celebrated tracks with behind-the-scenes stories into their thriving sound. The Summer of Light tour will travel through some of the country’s major markets and features a long list of songs from both acts’ extensive discographies.
The Fray is a world renowned rock band known for their "Piano Rock" sound. For fans of The Fray, you will know exactly what to expect with this Denver quartet. Fans will be rocking and singing along to hits such as "How to Save a Life", "Over My Head (Cable Car)", and "You Found Me" which dominated early 2000's airwaves and have as much attention today. The Fray Collection: How to Save a Life was released in 2023. The collection features re-imagined Fray versions of some of their biggest hits performed by Isaac Sluice (Lead Vocals) in a full amphitheater setting. The Fray have been nominated for multiple Grammys and have sold multi-platinum albums. "How to Save a Life" has been one of the most played song of the decade. Their work brought the albums to life.
Dashboard Confessional founder and lead vocalist, Chris Carrabba will perform both full band anthems and intimate acoustic versions of some of DC's biggest hits as well as newer 2022 material. Fans will be singing along to alternative classics such as "Vindicated." The band has grown in style and sound but the purity of Dashboard's music has continued to connect with fans on a deep level.
