Built on a solid bedrock of well-loved parody hits of the biggest music acts in every decade, Weird Al’s deep catalog spans the works of Michael Jackson and Madonna to Billie Eilish and Lady Gaga. And they’re all coming together for an explosive night in North Carolina this weekend! “This is kind of a ‘best of both worlds’ tour,” the accordion-pumping icon revealed in an official statement, where he also confirmed the addition of hardcore b-sides alongside crowd-pleasers such as “Smells Like Nirvana,” “Amish Paradise,” and “The Saga Begins.” Last year, Yankovic celebrated the 40th anniversary of his Grammy-awarded Michael Jackson cover, “Eat It,” and ten years of his Billboard 200 chart-topping record, Mandatory Fun. His latest music, “Polkamania!,” came next, a riveting medley exhibiting songs by Eilish, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, and more.
This jam-packed multimedia event also features an extended ensemble from Weird Al’s four-piece band, supported by four extra musicians for twice the fun! Do you like costumes?
