3 Alternative Icon Bands Perform 3 Decades of 90’s Alternatives Iconic Blues Traveler, Gin Blossoms and Spin Doctors Return for a Triple Header Summer show at Skyla Credit Union Amphitheater on Saturday, August 29th, 2026!
Three artists will take to the stage, each bringing their own brand of hit songs to the performance. For those who can’t get enough of the blues-infused rock of Blues Traveler, the group’s talented lead singer John Popper brings his signature harmonica playing to all of their live performances. For shows, the group will play Grammy winner ‘Hook’ as well as other hits from their many albums of original music. The Gin Blossoms will play all of their classic guitar-driven pop hits, such as ‘Hey Jealousy’, while Spin Doctors fans can expect to be treated to a fun high energy show with crowd participation as they perform hits like ‘Two Princes’ and ‘Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong’.
The price for tickets for the Skyla Credit Union Amphitheater stop of the U.S. Summer Tour 2026 starts at $51 for this show featuring a triple bill of three of the greatest acts of the 90s. The doors open at 5:00 PM and the band will go on at 6:00 PM. The lawn seats have great views of the Charlotte skyline and is a 5,000-capacity venue.

The Summer Tour 2016 will travel to many cities in the US including Redmond, OR, Eugene, OR, and many more.
Known for their blues-rock sound and, of course, the signature harmonica playing of frontman John Popper. The band achieved huge success in the 1990s with hits like “Run-Around,” “Hook,” and “But Anyway.” The band’s latest studio release, Travelers’ Times (2023), is a work of art that continues to see the band evolve as musicians. Formed in Princeton, New Jersey, in 1987, Blues Traveler has been touring non-stop for years, bringing their music and their raw energy to fans of all ages.
The Arizona alternative rock band Gin Blossoms are known for their sound that makes them stand out from the rest of the 90s alternative music scene. The band will be performing songs such as “Hey Jealousy,” “Found Out About You,” and “Until I Fall Away.”
The band will be performing songs from their latest studio release Face Full of Cake, and drawing on a deep well of rock and pop songs that the band has written over the years, including many fan-favorites such as “Two Princes,” “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong,” and “Jimmy Olsen’s Blues.” A veteran band of seasoned rockers, Spin Doctors began performing in 1988, and achieved multi-platinum status in the early 1990s following the success of several hit singles.
