BILLY CURRINGTON AND KIP MOORE LIVE IN CONCERT TOUR BEGINS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Billy Currington and Billboard chart hitmaker Kip Moore have announced they are joining forces for the Live In Concert Tour. They will bring the special night of country music to cities across the United States, including Charlotte, North Carolina on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre. Joining them for select dates will be the opening act, Alex Lambert.
Billy Currington is a singer who was born in Statesboro, Georgia. Some of his popular songs include “Good Directions”, “People Are Crazy”, “Must Be Doin’ Somethin’ Right”, “Let Me Down Easy”, “That’s How Country Boys Roll”, and “Walk a Little Straighter”. His 2025 album, “King Of The World”, carries on his tradition of writing memorable songs that tell a story. His music has earned him not one but two Grammy nominations in the Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song categories. He won in the Hottest Video of the Year category in the 2006 CMT Music Awards. In addition to making a name for himself in the music industry, Billy Currington also used to be a personal trainer and a construction worker.
Kip Moore's unrelenting live show will leave you breathless and battered – a true testament to the country rock artist's tough as nails touring credentials. With hits such as "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck," "Beer Money," "Hey Pretty Girl," "Last Shot" and "More Girls Like You" all under his belt, Moore was nominated by the Country Music Association for newcomer of the year and has earned several number one hits. His 2025 release, "Solitary Tracks," maintains Moore's reputation as a writer of heartfelt songs and a force to be reckoned with on stage. Critics have also praised Moore for his work on his albums Damn Love. A Tifton, Ga. native, Moore was the oldest of six children before he moved to Hawaii to work as a surf instructor before he became a country star.
Alex Lambert, an up-and-coming soul-country singer-songwriter! Born and raised in North Richland Hills, Texas, Alex competed in Season 9 of American Idol, and he has blended the traditional country style of storytelling with a modern vintage soul sound. Check out his catchy new songs like "Lonely Avenue" and "Rules of Attraction" from his debut 2025 album Lonely Avenue, as well as his emerging music in the soul-country genre that Alex is working closely with Big Loud Texas to further develop. Alex started playing guitar at 8 years old, and credits his music to his grandfather who was a singer and song writer. Alex has a very special connection with music, and feels honored to carry on his grandfather’s legacy.
